Our Mission
The Moorpark Friends of the Library (MFOTL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit volunteer community organization whose purpose is to provide financial support for programs and activities of the Moorpark City Library. These include a wide variety of exciting and innovative reading, technical, and craft programs for people of all ages. MFOTL endeavors to focus the attention and interest of the public on the invaluable community service offered by the library of today.
New Library Progress
THE DREAM IS BECOMING CONCRETE --- LITERALLY!
What an amazing experience it's been to watch the swift progress upwards and outwards of our new Moorpark City Library. Here are a couple of photos for your enjoyment. One is a long view of the south side from across High Street at the Post Office. The other is a sneak peek 'inside' from the future High Street parking area, captured when the fences were opened, and your camera-ready reporter happened by.
