New Library Groundbreaking Ceremony, January 27, 2026. Moorpark Digs It!
Local, County, State, and Federal dignitaries, and Moorpark Library supporters joined in happy celebration of a long-awaited day, and the current Library parking lot was the scene of congratulatory speeches and camaraderie. Blessed with a perfect California winter day. Moorpark citizens walked onto the space where the beautiful New Library will rise, and the dirt flew from shovels on the construction site. We look forward to watching it grow through its new stages!
