Our Mission

The Moorpark Friends of the Library (MFOTL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit volunteer community organization whose purpose is to provide financial support for programs and activities of the Moorpark City Library. These include a wide variety of exciting and innovative reading, technical, and craft programs for people of all ages. MFOTL endeavors to focus the attention and interest of the public on the invaluable community service offered by the library of today.

New Library Progress

The Moorpark City Council voted at their meeting , May 21, to authorize sending the project out to bid. Hopefully, a contract can be awarded in July, and groundbreaking will follow at a date to be determined. The City will send out a press release when the groundbreaking is scheduled.
